A Letter From Miss Sas: Pull Up a Chair
Miss SasWell hey there, Friend.
Since you're here, you might as well come on up. The coffee's hot, there's room for one more chair, and around here nobody cares if your hair's a mess or you forgot to fold the laundry before you walked out the door.
I've been waiting on you.
Now... I suppose I ought to introduce myself. Folks call me Miss Sas.
I'm a little bit of the Wiregrass. A little bit of front porch conversations. A little bit of women who could stretch a dollar farther than seemed possible, feed anybody who showed up hungry, and somehow make you laugh on the very day you felt like crying.
I've always believed life is better when it's shared. The stories. The coffee. The hard days. The victories. Even the days when supper ends up being cereal because everybody's just plain tired.
Especially those days.
So every now and then, I'm going to write you a letter. Some will make you laugh. Some might hit a little close to home. Some may remind you of someone you miss. And every once in a while, I hope one finds you on exactly the day you needed it.
There won't be perfect advice here. Lord knows I don't have that. Just honest words from a woman who believes none of us were meant to carry this life alone.
So pull up a chair. Stay awhile.
I'm mighty glad you found the porch.
