Black soap. Donkey milk. Because apparently regular soap was just a little too boring for us.
This handcrafted bar pairs raw donkey milk with activated charcoal, organic olive oil and coconut oil, then adds lavender and clove essential oils. The charcoal gives it that deep black color and makes this one of those bars that immediately caught our eye—because of course it did.
It has an earthy, herbal scent with lavender softened by the warm spice of clove. A little rustic, a little unexpected, and definitely not your average bar from the grocery-store soap aisle.
What’s In It
Raw donkey milk, organic virgin olive oil, organic coconut oil, activated charcoal, lavender essential oil, clove essential oil and sodium hydroxide used in the soapmaking process.
A Little Donkey Business
Dulcededonke handcrafts this soap at their Oklahoma donkey dairy using milk from their own donkeys. Each bar is small-batch made and may have the perfectly imperfect variations you'd expect from something made by actual humans instead of rolling off an assembly line.
