Floral Harvest | Botanical Seed Chime & Hanging Sculpture

Part instrument, part hanging sculpture. Floral Harvest combines a hand-woven vine ring, preserved purple flowers, and cascading natural seed pods into a botanical piece you can display beautifully — then pick up and play.

How to Play

Hold the hanging support securely and gently shake the piece by hand. The suspended pods and shells strike one another to create a layered, woody clatter.

This is a hand-played natural percussion piece. It is not designed to rely on wind for sound.

Floral Harvest

There is a whole little forest hanging from this one.

A rustic woven ring forms the crown, edged with tiny purple dried flowers. From underneath, strands of naturally shaped pods and dark shells fall at different lengths, creating movement, texture, and sound.

At rest, Floral Harvest works as an organic hanging sculpture for a covered porch, reading nook, studio, plant room, or other nature-filled space.

Pick it up and gently shake it, though, and it becomes something else entirely: a simple natural percussion instrument with layers of soft clicks, hollow clacks, and woody movement.

That combination is what makes this piece special.

Natural vine, dried botanical accents, seed pods and shells, natural cord, wood elements, and decorative ribbon.

Display Ideas

Hang Floral Harvest in a creative studio, meditation corner, music room, plant-filled sunroom, covered porch, or anywhere you want a little more texture from the natural world.

Because it is also playable, it makes an especially interesting gift for musicians, percussionists, artists, teachers, sound collectors, nature lovers, and people who simply collect unusual handmade things.

Natural Variation

This piece is made with botanical materials rather than identical manufactured components. Individual pods, shells, flowers, textures, markings, and coloration will naturally vary.

Those variations are part of the piece rather than imperfections.

Care

The dried flowers and natural fibers are sensitive to moisture and prolonged outdoor exposure. Display indoors or in a dry, sheltered covered area, and handle gently when playing.
